B-movies at its best

Seriously, I am so glad that I took a break to go watch a movie this evening. Thank you Animal for making me go. Though we didn’t stay to watch both features, the first one, “Planet Terror” directed by Robert Rodriquez, was well worth the time spent for our little break from work. The other film during Grindhouse was Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof,” which we stayed for about 15 minutes and then left because – yes, unfortunately we had to get back to work and we were hungry.

I love horror spoofs with all the blood and gore. It was awesome and I loved laughing and cringing at every moment. I mean, how often do you get to see an ex go-go dancer get her leg chewed off, and then later stick an machine gun or some shit like that to her stump and shoot up aliens. I mean really. Classic. Man, isn’t entertainment entertaining or what?! ;-)
